Losses

A friend lost her grandmother this weekend.  She was close to her grandmother.  And, she is at an age where she feels her emotions deeply.

I hope that she is able to find comfort in her family, and friends, and community.  The ability to escape to a best friend's house or be able to cry on the shoulder of a relative who understands is so important to the grieving process.  Even so, losing someone who believed in you, who loved you unconditionally . . . it leaves a hole that won't ever really be filled again.
