ah, memories

Yes, people, we have returned to trade fair season. sigh. I hate trade fair season. It always puts me in a bad mood. I know it's the unadulterated greed. I find greed most unattractive.

This year, we have a sports theme to our marketing scheme. So, we have different sports balls and sporting equipment in our booth to attract the eye. Unfortunately, most of these horrid little humans want to make off with our props rather than graciously accept our samples and company info. Several of our props went missing today, even though we tried to keep an eye out. You know that if people are being sneaking about palming the props . . . they know it's wrong.

But, there was a bright spot . . . one of our props is a foam football. Years ago, before we had huge televisions or the internet or Hulu or video games to amuse us, the Phenom and I would spend our Friday evenings having a nice dinner out and then trolling the local shops. More than once we were ushered out of the toy shop for throwing the footballs up and down the aisles.

Yeah, I took the ball home with me . . . but I did buy it.
