I have finally heard from Sparkle. For those of you who haven't been along on the ride from the beginning, Sparkle is a one time 400 lb tranny cabaret performer of my acquaintance. Sparkle had several very successful shows, and the Germans were showing a whole lot of interest. But, then, she got one of her rhinestone thongs caught on an aerial stage prop, and ended her career. However, in a creepy twist, it seems the German club promoters are now even more interested in her.
Any way, in the depths of a deep depression, Sparkle went back to the day job and men's clothing. Next thing we knew, Sparkle was married and expecting fatherhood.
The boy child was birthed about a month ago. Sparkle has been hard to find since then. But, today, I finally talked to her. (I know - I should switch back to the male pronouns, but somehow it just feels wrong.) The bambino is thriving - however there seems to be some nipple confusion - not with the child - with the parents.
We're collecting donations for the kid's therapy fund. After all, is there any greater gift than that of mental health? Or ECT to forget one's earliest years?
