Hank has been out of the growth medium for a day now -- The Phenom is convinced that Hank is shrinking. Interestingly, Hank's head seems to have filled out a bit and looks less deformed. Hank still just stares and grins at us with that cheesy grin. I haven't figured out what he eats. He's rejected every thing from cat food to spaghetti. Hank still shows no interest in swinging from anything not bolted down or jumping up and down or any of the other activities I enjoyed so much in my youth. I'm still at a loss as to what to do with him. He also continues to sweat, although he barely moves. I'm afraid one of these days the cat may decide he's a toy and start batting him around. Try explaining that one to the child protection types. He's a monkey and a clone, and all those bruises and scratches came from the cat, honest officer. Sigh.
On totally unrelated issues - I've been looking around for more blogs that are worth the time to read -- and it's hard to find one I like. I fear, sometimes, that other folks browsing the internet find my blog and think "eh, not funny" and stop reading. Then, I'm horrified that I'm losing sight of why I blog in the first place. It's just all so confounding. Granted, I don't read blogs of people or critters who butcher the language to the point that I have to work too hard to figure out what they are saying. I'm not interested in reading about drugged out stupidity after drugged out stupidity either.
I have found a couple of blogs I like -- One is called "Anonymous Lawyer" - it's written from the point of view of a "fictional" attorney in a "fictional" major law firm. He's such a nasty critter that you kinda want to know what mean and horrible thing he'll say and do next. Being such a low key kind of monkey, it's odd that I'd be amused by such an arrogant figure, but, it is what it is. The other one I've been reading lately is called "this fish needs a bicycle" and is written by a 20 something woman in NYC about her life, her friends, her work, etc. There are some really very funny entries - and touching ones too.
And, yeah, I'm still wasting time by blipping over to the vegan lunch box from time to time. Scary.
