Today was one of rushing around and talking with people and fitting in meetings between other activities. Finally, mid-afternoon we were able to take a wee break. I stepped outside to chat with the office smokers when I noticed unusual activity in the little plaza/park across from our office.
It was a wedding. Small. The couple, the preacher, her two dads, her mom, his mom and dad, and their baby. It was sweet and seemed heartfelt. Proud parents were snapping pictures and the bride brushed a way a small tear. And, then he kissed her.
It was a nice little moment in an otherwise hectic day.
