Learning to Fly

As a child, the Old Woman wished for nothing more than the ability to fly. She seemed to think that the ability to fly would be the key to adventure.

Unlike other children who wish to fly, she never climbed trees or dressers for the terrific leap of faith. She reasoned that if she could just turn her feet to the right angles, and position her ankles just the right way, she'd lift off.

Sadly, years of experimentation didn't yield results. But, now, when standing in long lines, I find myself wondering if there really is the right way to hold your feet and take flight.
