Relaxed

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It was nice to have no real schedule . . . and have a chance to just unwind. We made friends with the bartender at one bar, and I'm pretty sure she gave us as many drinks as we bought. And, I have a new plan for when I win the Lotto . . . I'm going to buy an apartment in the french quarter and become a barfly. The Phenom is in too.

Here are some pictures:

This collage was made from some of the many notes locals left on the door of the Camilla Grill after Katrina. The Camilla Grill is one of our very favorite places. It's a diner in the garden district. They only have counter seating so be ready to stand in line. The guys who work there have been there forever and put on a fun little show as they enjoy their work. It's a local hang out. If you go, you must have a freeze. We highly recommend the chocolate.

When I die, I want a Second Line. This one was for a wedding . . . but they started for funerals. The idea was that by making a lot of noise, the angels and God would know that they were getting someone much loved and thus deserved to be in heaven. I just don't want to pass up a reason for a party.
