Several months ago, I found a website with instructions for making crafts from tampons. I figured I had reached the END of the Internet.
I have a set list of blogs and sites I visit regularly. There are a few that I look up when I'm bored or really in a fit to procrastinate. But, mostly, my internet reading has hit a rut. Until recently. In the last few weeks, I've found a few new (to me) sites that have joined my regular list of reads.
One newsie related one is the Daily Beast. I think this is suppose to be "news for girls" . . . but don't think it's lipstick colors and 15 bedroom tricks to drive your man wild . . . there are well written articles on a variety of topics of importance.
A couple time wasters that are worth repeating include The Best of Craigslist and Passive Aggressive Notes. These are collections of the masterpieces of other people in one place for your enjoyment.
Lastly, the site that has usurped my love of podcasts is Hulu. On Hulu, you can watch clips and entire episodes of your favorite television shows. There are also several full length films. Because my home computer is in the kitchen, I get to watch Kitchen Nightmares while cooking. If only Gordon Ramsay had a "bat signal."
