The Answer is . . .

Years ago, I had a history professor who, before exams, would post four possible essay questions on the board. He would do this about a week before the exam. Being a total nerd, I would prepare and commit to memory essays for each of the questions.

One time, upon returning the graded exams, he asked if there were any questions. A student shot his hand up and demanded to know why he'd received a grade of zero when he'd written a great essay on the industrial revolution. To which the professor replied that the reason for the zero grade was that the question asked was about Martin Luther and the catholic church.

Kinda feeling like that professor tonight.
