Today I had a long ass meeting in another community. I had to get up way early and drive. I sat in a hard chair in a small, windowless room all day . . . had a pretty yucky lunch . . . and then drove home in the rain.
When I got home, (the Phenom was at the theater for tonight's performance) I found a note from the Phenom. It informed me that the cats who get a late afternoon meal had already been fed. Then, the note went on to read that I might want to see if I can find the three little puffs of fur we found in the car over the weekend and dry them off because they would be wet from the rain.
Apparently, earlier in the day, the Phenom went out . . . braved their little hisses and dried them off.
How many humans do you know who would wait for a break in the rain to go dry off little kittens too young to leave their momma's side? The thought of it warmed my little monkey heart.
