Random Thoughts, quote of the decade

So, is it just me . . . or has "earth day" turned into "earth sweeps"? Last year, most humans couldn't tell you the date of "earth day" . . . and this year, apparently being "green" is the most profitable thing going. Even wal-mart is cashing in on claims of being green. The cynic in me thinks that the only green most of these folks are really interested in is the ink printed on paper/cotton blend.

I those of you in the non-south will think I'm just being spoiled, but how did we go from lovely spring weather last week to humid summer this week?

I was going to write this post about my triumph over mother nature . . . my employment of tools to force the foliage in my yard into submission. But, given the tender state of my arms, back, and hands tonight . . . I think mother nature won.

And, the quote of the decade "tequila was a time in my life."
