Foodie Xmas

Apparently, shopping for xmas gifts for a monkey is easy. Make it food related.

I received three bottles of booze . . . including homemade lemoncello. I also got candies, high-brow ice cream sauces, froo-froo salts (including some smoked salt I can't wait to use), a food mill (for processing my own tomato and apple sauce), and the new release of the original Moosewood CookBook.

Now, I'm planning a feast that will allow me to use all of the gifts in one big, blow out of a meal. I'm thinking that I am going to have to invest in a beef tenderloin to do justice to this meal, eh? mmmmmm, beef tenderloin . . . .. .
