BCS and my sordid past

First, an opinion no one asked for but I will impose anyway.

It seems to me that if there has to be so much discussion and bickering over who ought to play Ohio State for the so called national championship in college football, then there really is no way any school BUT Ohio State could legitimately call itself the national champion. The BCS system is seriously flawed. But, we'll never get past it because the money to be made on the college bowl games is too great for the colleges to turn down. I think we should stop kidding ourselves and have the bowl games - but declare the national champion based on season performance.

And, ya'll know how I just love celebrity gossip. I consider it a lovely distraction to my day-to-day. Well, I was chatting with the Waitress the other day about past loves and flavors of the month. I mentioned one particular human I was once friends with and had a terrible mad crush on. This was quite literally the best looking person I'd ever seen. Their kisses literally curled my toes. So, in a fit of monkeyness, I decided to google 'em. And was FLOORED to discover that after our tryst, they went on to become a theater star. Really -- a broadway play!!! A starring role!!!!

Just goes to show - sometimes, celebrity actually goes to those who work hard -- and not just the vapid and outrageous. sigh.
