Karma?

The Phenom has concluded that we have very bad karma, very bad karma indeed.

Our heat/cooling system dies on us every season. And, it knows when the coldest day of the year or the hottest day of the year is coming. So, naturally, with a nor'easter hitting the coast, it had to die in the middle of the night. The fix-it guys claim that it could be a week to a week and a half before they can get the part to fix it. I can't help but suspect that this is their way of making us cave and buy a whole new system.

Good thing monkey's have so much natural fur and insulation. And, I have polar fleece sheets. They aren't going to win this round!!!! The Phenom isn't so hardy. And, now that the Phenom has latched on to the notion of bad Karma - the thought is that perhaps an offering should be made. And everyone thinks I'm the weak link.

But, we're going to stay with friends for the holiday - and they have heat. Heat and lots and lots of booze. Take that Heat Karma Gods!!!!
