The dog - all grown up

I was chatting with Miss Grassy Creek earlier today. She was telling me about the "satan spawn dog" her child has acquired. She says that "Rosie" can jump up in the air, and pee on you while she does a back flip.

She laughed and said she knew I'd understand because I have the world's most hyper dog too.

That was, until Chester grew up. I'm not sure when it happened, but he's now much more mature. This evening - he did jump up on a little girl to sniff her - but then quickly grew bored with her. Even when I offered to let her give Chester a treat - he refused to shake paws for the treat. I could tell she was disappointed. Chester really just wanted to find something else to pee on so he could make the evening quota.

Just as I was settling into redefining the dog as not the most hyper critter on the planet, he chased all of the kittens under the car, and whined and whined for them to come back and play. Maybe he's not ready for the retirement couch just yet.
