The first of many?

Okay - so I thought I was totally buying some bad karma by immediately assuming Ken Lay's very well timed death was suicide. But, I see from various and sundry sources on the internet, which means it's totally true, that other folks had the same exact thought. Then, today, that building blew up and one of the reports on the internet is that it might have been caused by the doctor who owned the building as a botched suicide attempt. Apparently, doc is going through a divorce and will be forced to sell the building to settle the divorce. He'd recently told his ex-spouse that he was thinking of killing himself.

So, I'm wondering if we are going to find a renewal of the old practice of falling on one's sword? Will folks who don't want to own up to reality start offing themselves and saving others the trouble of dealing with them? Ken Lay saved himself from prison and likely, his family will get to keep all those lovely millions he scammed. This doctor took several people down with his building -- which I'm pretty sure is going to make his life more difficult than his life was when he was JUST facing a nasty divorce.

I'm pretty constantly impressed by how differently a person's life can turn out based on just a few seemingly small decisions.
