So, yesterday, I'm in an argument with my accountant. I'm paying my bills, and I see that the accountant says that I've got a credit on my bill with them. I call them up. I've never paid more than the amount on their bill, and a credit seems unlikely.
I explain the issue. They say they'll look into it. A few minutes later, I call with what I think is the error on their part. They are not convinced. We actually argue. They keep telling me that they total out their accounts every month. I keep insisting that they gave me credit for paying one bill twice.
Finally, it dawns on me that a) I'm arguing to pay them more money than they are asking for and b) THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS - you'd think that accountants would keep track of their billing accurately, and if they say you don't owe them money - why argue?
Maybe I need to up my sugar allowance - my brain doesn't seem to work all the time.
