Yesterday, I went home with a blinding headache. I now, by the way, know what the term "blinding headache" means exactly.
Anyway, after waking up from my morning nap, The Phenom surprised me with a copy of the book "How to Rule the World." What a thoughtful gift. Really, The Phenom knows me so well -- I think The Phenom has earned a spot on the list of the protected.
Anyway, at first I was reading this wonderful book on a lark. Then, today, I see a news report of an incident so foul, so hurtful to monkey-kind, that I've decided to study this manual seriously, and the time has come for me to just take over the planet. In London, a chimpanzee escaped some so-called "zoo" and disappeared into the fog -- only to be brutally murdered by a "marksman." They said that the hapless chimpanzee was "potentially dangerous" -- but didn't indicate that she had done anything specifically harmful to human or creature-kind. I am terribly saddened by this event. The desire to be free is one basic to all creatures. I having lived in a lab, and never been exposed to the horrors of zoos and other forms of side shows, I can only imagine the day to day hell she must have endured.
So, if you see thousands of human heads hoisted on spikes, be afraid, be very afraid. The list of the protected is short.
