When I first set up this blog, I did some research. I read the article about the nanny who started posting about her sexual and drinking habits and rather indiscreet posts about her employers which resulted in her losing her job. I read about doe-eyed innocent college graduates posting about their wild and irresponsible partying/indiscriminate sexual habits that were being found by potential employers.
I took care to obscure my actual identity and location to avoid stalkers. I create names for those actual people I write about so to avoid stalkers looking for them. I write in gender neutral terms to protect myself and The Phenom from less than charitable attentions. I stupidly thought it would be cool to allow readers to post comments and feedback. Now, I see that I just have a huge ol' ego and that I needed to be taken down a peg. I thought people would read my blather, and want to dialog. What an EGO!
Instead, I have had to enable comment moderation because of all the frikkin advertisements that have been posted as "comments." THIS IS MY BLOG!!!! DAMN IT!!!! I will not advertise legal services, botox clinics, mortgage refinancing services, or any other annoying-bastard services. My readers deserve more. If you attempt to post an advertisement, it will be deleted.
To my faithful readers, if you know of an actual service that is just that A SERVICE (meaning that monkeys and humans alike will be made better by the existence of such a service) you can let me know about it. If I like what I see, I will post it. Also, if you see advertisements or endorsements of services, rest assured that I, myself, either use the service or approve of others using it.
If you are indeed, a faithful reader - or FOB (friend of bongo) and you want to post a comment or something funny enough to share, please continue to do so. I will fling no poo in your direction.
