Not long ago, I mentioned that I was developing a friendship that I was hoping would pan out into a close, fun, long-term friendship. I was moving fairly slowly, cautiously . . . given being burned so recently.
But, things seem to be moving along. There was the exchange of personal information. There were the shared interests. The expression of friendly concern. It appeared that systems were go on this whole friendship thing. YAY!
But, suddenly, my new little friend seems to be oddly missing from the social landscape and now there seems to be a major change in her life coming up. I don't know the details, but I suspect it means my new friend is no longer going to be local.
Sigh. Just when things seemed to be going so well.
