Laziness justified

I hate unpacking. I hit the road enough, that I have a fully stocked toiletry kit in my travel bag. I appreciate the 2 minutes of packing/unpacking time it affords me. And, it has really cute little bottles I've labeled. Who doesn't like cute little bottles of hair goo?

This morning, I was awakened very early with a call from the security company . . . the alarm in the office was going off. I jumped up, threw on the trousers I wore yesterday that were tossed to the foot of the bed and dug through the laundry basket of fresh clothes to find a shirt . . . and then found the deodorant I keep in my travel kit. VOILA! out the door in 5 minutes flat. . . and not at all stinky.

A homeless person had pulled on the door enough to upset the alarm. No harm done . . . beyond me feeling the need to explain that I wasn't really doing the "walk of shame" in yesterday's clothes. And, BONUS . . . I have a clear reason for keeping my travel kit packed and in easy reach.
