Why is it that everything is always the most hectic right before you're due to leave town?
I totally earned this little trip south with all the marketing events I had to participate in last month. And, now our projections for the coming year are due . . . of course the home office didn't get the forms out until this Monday . . . and I'm leaving tomorrow. I had exactly 24 hours to read, comprehend legaleze, and come up with some defensible numbers.
But, my bag is packed . . . I merely have to stop in the office briefly to settle a couple of last details . . . and I will be well on my way to stimulating the economy in NOLA . . . and killing off some bushes.
