Wasting time

In my office, we have more ways to waste time than you'd think . . . especially for the volume of work we also accomplish. I like to think that the bursts of time wasting make our working moments even more productive.

We invented a game called Office Ball. It involves flipchart paper stretched across the office and a beach ball and teams and a lot of giggling. Pretty much the first team to draw blood wins.

This week, one of our co-workers shared her secret for wasting time. This web site. You'll see lots of little soft icons. Each icon is a different quick little game. We especially like the flying saucer one (third row from the bottom, blue background with ufo). You have a camcorder, and the object is to film the flying saucer. . . when you're done, they tell you how much money the government will pay you for the film to hide the evidence.

I've not played all of them . . . not even a quarter of them. Some are really cute. Go check it out.
