Tonight, we had friends over to eat left overs . . . repurposed into other things. I warmed up what was left of the crab dip . . . which will now become my standard food item I bring to parties. Lots of crab, and just a few ingredients to lend flavor or help hold it together, but mostly crab.
I made a REAL caesar salad . . . like they make tableside in fancy restaurants. The dressing was tangy and yummy . . . real croutons . . . lots of cheese. Phenom said it might have been the highlight of the meal.
I made a big batch of jambalaya with chicken, shrimp, and sausage . . . and lots of veg. I had left over french bread a friend brought over last night. And, because my idea of a good meal is one with more than one dessert . . . we had left over caramel cheesecake and a frozen key lime pie with real whipped cream.
I'm stuff to the gills. I wish god loved us enough to give us little robots who would put the dishes in the dishwasher for us.
