Rollin', rollin', rollin'

I'm sore all over from wii. And, I concede that the Phenom has a point . . . today while sitting through a long, boring class really only accountants would get hot and bothered over . . . I started figuring out how I'm going to get my wii fix when I'm away from home. That's probably a bad thing.

I realized the other day I've not posted a recipe in a while. I thought I'd post my newest craving . . . Cincinnati style chili.

Here's the seasoning blend you need . . .

1 tbs chili powder
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (ground)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard powder
1 1/2 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

In a large pot, mix

4 cups water
spice mix
1 can tomato paste
1 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef (93% or better)
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

bring to a boil, then drop the heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Serve over thin spaghetti. Top with any or all of the following:

cheddar cheese
chopped onion
kidney beans
oyster crackers

It pretty much is a heart attack waiting to happen . . . but oooooh soooooo goooood.
