In my quest to tweak everything, and use my kitchen as a labratory, tonight, I tried something new.
I popped microwave popcorn . . . . and when it came out, I spooned a couple spoonfuls of my BBQ dry rub into the bag and gave it a shake. It coated the popcorn nicely . . . but was very spicy. Too spicy. I'll have to work on it. But, now I'm thinking new seasonings that could be added to microwave popcorn. 5 spice powder. Veggie Blend. A toned down bbq rub. Jerk seasoning.
Poor Phenom . . . . the Phenom likes just plain buttered popcorn.
But, as the old woman would say, you don't know what your favorite is until you've tried them all.
