In order to further avoid watching the endless loops on the news -- the rehashing over and over of little known facts - I spent my afternoon painting play ground equipment at a local park.
I'm pretty proud of the bouncy horses -- especially the shiny gold saddles and gold highlights in their "tails."
I'm thinking that the rest of you folks might want to find some activity that will allow you to "be part of the solution" as well as get you away from tv screens and computers. Plus, working with your hands can give your brain a break.
