Well played

I feel that this post is something of an atonement for past harshness. I admit, I judged Britney Spears harshly. She dangled the bait and boy did I jump for it.

If I recall properly, I even posted rather unflattering photos I found from other media outlets and commented harshly. I even suggested that she find a new image consultant and obey obey obey.

Well, I won't be the first or the last to say of her recent clean up and announcements : Well Played.

She looks healthy. She is dressing in a manner more befitting someone with her money and youth and figure. She has kicked the freeloader to the curb and seems to be serious about being an actual mommy and reclaiming her life.

I have to wonder about the timing. Was she expecting that party boy would magically settle down when she had the first child? Or when she was knocked up with the second? Did she see no evidence of love and devotion after the birth of the second child? Or was this something she's been planning for a while?

What ever the answers, again I say "well played, well played indeed!"
