Presidential Announcement

Being a thoroughly modern monkey, instead of calling a press conference, I have decided to make this announcement via the blog.

After much thought, study, and consideration, I have decided to not seek nomination for the presidential elections in 2008. It has been a tremendous experience working with my supporters and meeting so many very interesting people and critters. But, I feel that my contributions would be best made outside elected office.

Thank you so much for your support and kindness. I promise, you will see The Super Bongo more in the future, just not as president.

I have not yet decided which candidate I will support. I will make an announcement once that decision is made.
