Sharing the glee

This morning, while driving into work, I heard a bit on NPR about the new season for the supreme court. I was all geared up to blog about it and drip with righteous indignation. But, then, my day took a turn. I ended up being goofy happy all day and thought I'd spare you folks the lecture for at least a day.

This morning, I received a letter from a client. It is that time of year when we renew our contract with them, but I didn't think it would be so soon. What really had me apprehensive was that the letter was in a thin envelope, not the usual large envelope with paperwork. I was afraid they were cancelling their contract with us. I ripped it open in the post office. And when I read that not only are they renewing the contract, but quadrupling it -- I ended up jumping around in little circles in the PO while repeatedly squealing "yes, yes, yes".

The old dudes in the PO now are convinced I'm a nutter. But, at least I moved fast enough they didn't see I'm also a monkey.

Lecture tomorrow.
