Two days in a row, my attempt at stealing an afternoon nap has been thwarted. Yesterday, by a critter demanding food. Today, by random noises ranging from garbage pick up to the door bell. It's left me feeling a tad grumpy.
Why can't you humans respect the nap? eh? I don't know why you give up naps once you start school. Look to the animal world - we all nap - frequently -- and how often do you see us "testing" nuclear warheads? Riddle me that, batman!!!
In other news, no street beggers came to our door seeking candy. I was disappointed to see several of the neighbors giving in to these street tough's antics. Tough love people!!
And, tomorrow is, in many ways, the happiest day of the year. It is the first home basketball game!!! WEEEEEEEE
