They're gone!!!!! I am sure they must have been kidnapped - forced into white slavery. They were making such progress up the street. I went out to check on them this morning, and THEY WERE GONE.
Now, I wish I'd been kinder - perhaps offered to stretch their elastic a bit - perhaps offered some respite or cola.
Then again, the Chick is claiming they ran away due to lack of activity. Perhaps she saw the error of her ways and made promises, whispered sweet nothings, and they forgave her? Could they have gone home? It's raining out there now - so let's hope that where ever they are, they are warm and safe and dry.
