This morning, while sharing a lovely breakfast of pancakes and coffee with the Phenom, I read the following line in a wedding announcement.
"The wedding "party" was held on July 24 at ______________ club. The couple's cats Mojo and Big Shirley were unable to attend."
My first reaction was to be stunned. This isn't the normal sort of information included in such an annoucement. But, ultimately, I think it's funny. Although, probably not for Mojo and Big Shirley. I just wonder what sort of family discussions surrounded the planning of a party in which the cats would be not invited or boycott it. I wonder, were they boycotting? We they scheduled to make an appearance else where? Had they been kidnapped?
I could be over thinking it too. Probably. What a sad little life I lead - the most interesting tidbit from a weekend is someone else's wedding announcement. sigh.
