I'm trying to get a whole week's worth of work and running around accomplished in two days this week. The fates seem to be working against me too.
My knee went out on me yesterday, slowing down my progress on laundry, packing, etc. This morning, I had a well ordered series of meetings. Two folks showed up unexpectedly and both offered situations that required attention but effectively threw off the entire "well ordered" bit of the morning. I did gain an hour later in the afternoon when a meeting didn't take as long as planned.
On top of it all, I have my annual review with the home office tonight. It's just so all overwhelming.
However, there is a reason behind some of the madness. I'm taking a bit of a holiday with the Phenom. We are headed to Texas, of all places. But, it is suppose to be warm there - and I'm tired of woolen sweaters and jackets. OOOH - that reminds me -- I have some linen "vacationwear" I need to dig out of the back of the closet tonight.
In addition to the Texas trip this week. We decided this weekend to use our credit with Delta to visit Boston. We will be traveling with WS Random. None of us have ever traveled to Boston. I did manage to find a guide book for tourists to order today. I love guide books.
I just wanted to update before I have to go swinging off to print up something that makes it look as if I actually earn my keep.
