Last night, I was putting the recruits through their paces and there was a popular music station playing in the background. Somebody has re-recorded the "I've had the time of my life" song from Dirty Dancing . . . all dancy . . . and I literally had to talk two of the monkey recruits down from fistacuffs over it. Never doubt the power of a well timed "no body puts baby in the corner."
I don't know what the radio station was . . . but I doubt I'll be putting it into my keys in the car.
To continue the experiment, today I'm listening to Pandora's "2010 college indie" station. I do not understand why college students are so depressed. They just have no clue what heart break is waiting for them.
