We all know that words are powerful. We take for granted their power. The rash of sexual harassment based suicides amongst young people were a reminder.
I kinda hope that last night, as Sarah Palin was pounding on her pillow to make it more comfortable, she wondered how many of her words contributed to the killing of innocents?
And, maybe, she and the other politically minded talking heads will be reminded that what they see as hyperbole or the sound bite that is going to get them face time in the media . . . someone else might take as instruction.
